The Colleague in this position is responsible for supporting a culture and processes within the organization that results in timely and actionable risk management data available to stakeholders throughout the organization (including, but not limited to Hospital, Urgent Care Center, Ambulatory Surgery Center, Women’s Retreat and all outpatient clinic locations and functions).  While this Colleague will need to work collaboratively with the Director of Clinical Quality and Performance Improvement with regard to clinical risks, the focus of this position is on other risk domains such as operational, strategic, financial, human capital, legal / regulatory and technology.  The position is responsible for training of Colleagues regarding reporting of risk events.  Working in conjunction with appropriate stakeholders, the person in this position will identify opportunities, facilitate and when appropriate lead efforts to minimize enterprise risk and improve Colleague and patient safety. 

Position Qualifications
 

Minimum Education:         

• Bachelor degree in clinical specialty such as nursing, social work, or other clinical areas.           

Preferred Education:                   

• Master’s Degree in business or healthcare related field preferred.

Minimum Experience:        

• Requires strong written and verbal skills, ability to prioritize multiple projects. 
  Computer knowledge of Microsoft tools suchas Outlook, Excel, Word and Power Point.  Demonstrated ability to work effectively with other health professionals at all levels of the organization.

Preferred Experience:        

• Leading DIGs, RIEs and projects within Goshen Health’s TUL system.  Experience with EMR’s and risk reporting software.  2 years or more in health care leadership role.
