    Responsibilities

     

    Brosnan is looking for a Operations Manager (ROM) that will be responsible for overseeing and executing the recruitment, staffing and operational needs of all sites in their assigned market. 

     

    The prioritization of duties is as follows:

    • Recruit, screen, select, hire
    • Coordinate OJT and deploy new hires to site.
    • Once schedules are fully mastered with 20% flex Officer bench in your designated market, assist with remote recruiting for other areas at the direction of your Regional Manager.

    The ideal candidate for this position is a great multi-tasker, solid communicator, can handle stress well and is able to prioritize various tasks that must be completed in a timely manner. This position reports to the District Manager and works closely with the functional support teams of Human Resources, and Compliance.

     

    Overall Responsibilities

     

    • Oversee transition from new hire to post assignment, and ensure OJT is coordinated.

    Recruitment/ Hiring

    • Post requisitions for current staffing vacancies.
    • Plan and execute live and virtual hiring events.
    • Contact applicants to inform them of available employment opportunities and benefits of working at Brosnan.
    • Search for qualified candidates through the use of online job boards, our internal recruiting system (iCIMS), cold calls, and employee referrals.
    • Review employment applications, evaluate licensure, work history, education, training, job skills, compensation needs, and other qualifications and requirements of applicants.
    • Schedule and complete interviews.
    • Interviews candidates and makes hiring decisions for assigned personnel.
    • Inform applicants of job duties and responsibilities, compensation and benefits, work schedules and working conditions, company and union policies, promotional opportunities, and other related information.

     

    Operational Focus

    • Oversee master and working schedules for specified customer sites. Schedule security personnel ensuring full coverage is maintained including PTO/ vacation requests.
    • Ensures compliance with company and customer timekeeping procedures including daily reconciliation of schedules.
    • Trains, develops, and evaluates personnel including motivating and issuing progressive discipline and retraining as appropriate.
    • Conducts site visits to ensure service levels are meeting company and client expectations.
    • Manages and reviews the work of assigned supervisors and directs their focus.
    • Conducts ongoing training directly and through subordinate supervisors assigned to them, including new hires, on BRC HR and operational policies and procedures.
    • Ensures all needs for service are properly being addressed and individuals are hired to fill all positions and replacements are hired when needed.
    • Recommends removal of SOs from posts based on client complaints, attendance problems or other performance issues; advises management of any staffing problems that may arise as client requirements change.
    • Recommends operational improvements and efficiencies to their manager.
    • Maintains current knowledge of site contract requirements, including training requirements

    Qualifications

    • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a security services supervisory role or security supervisory experience in a multi-site environment.
    • Must be licensed Security Officer in the municipality that they are assigned.
    • Must have a valid, state-issued Driver’s License 
    • Must present a professional image.
    • Excellent communication skills and customer service experience
    • Skilled multi-tasker
    • Keen attention to detail
    • Reliable transportation and proximity to the market assigned.
    • Supervisory and scheduling experience required.
    • Must have working knowledge in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
    • Technology savvy
    • Experience using scheduling software.

    Preferred Qualifications:

      • Honorably discharged veteran, law enforcement experience, or college degree.
      • Proficiency with applicant tracking system (ATS) iCIMS.  
      • Proficiency with TEAM Software, also referred to as WIN-Team.
