Production Associate

Reports To: Manufacturing Manager

Job Location: 803 N Mckinley Ave, Champaign, IL 61821

Responsibilities include:

• Mix Cement, sand and other construction material
• Carry Material from mixing area to work area
• Press cement/sand mixture into molds
• Pull out completed material from mold
• Finish edges, clean up finished product
• Move product into Kilns if necessary
• Clean up and repair molds
• Perform 5s clean up process in various areas
• Clean work area and tools before and after work
• Assist other departments when necessary

Education
High School/GED preferred, not required
Experience
No Experience necessary, previous manufacturing a plus
Language
Basic ability to communicate, both verbally and in writing, using the English or Spanish language.
Technology
Knowledge of how to use tools such as hammer, screw driver, nail gun etc.
Physical Demands
The employee is to regularly Stand; Walk; Climb or balance; Stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; Use hands to finger, handle, or feel; Reach with hands and arms; Talk or hear; Must be able to lift 50 pounds on a regular basis (physically demanding position)
