Fridays and Saturdays. Our busy school (300 students) and incredible crew make for a warm and inviting community that's fun and totally rocks! Friday hours are 1:00 to 8:45 pm and Saturday hours are 9:45 am to 6:15 pm.

School of Rock is the original performance-based, interactive music school founded in 1998 in Philadelphia. With 350 schools, and a strong internationally recognized brand, School of Rock is the largest after-school music education provider. Our mission is to help kids rock their worlds.
The Studio/Social Media Coordinator is an administrative focal point for our school with outstanding customer service skills and the ability to juggle many tasks in a social fast-paced environment. Reporting to the General Manager and Studio Manager, they assist with running the School and creating an amazing experience for all students, parents, and prospective customers. In addition they are responsible for scheduling and keeping our school looking and feeling great. School of Rock San Rafael has grown rapidly in just under two years and we have a thriving, positive community of staff, parents, and students.
Primary Duties:
- Handle complex scheduling for busy music school while multi-tasking at the front desk
- Schedule and lead tours for prospective students and parents
- Greet and look after students - is the face of the school at the front desk
- Handle opening and closing of school
- Answers phones and field inquiries; explains our music programs and options
- Works on special projects, and other administrative tasks as needed
- Adheres to the SOR Code of Conduct, safety policies, including the Monitoring and Supervision policy.
Skill Requirements:
- One years working Front Desk, Reception, and/or Customer Service role
- Highly detailed multi-tasking in an often interrupted environment; the ability to step away from a task, take care of a client, and resume the task is your Superpower!
- Welcoming, outgoing demeanor essential
- Good team player who collaborates well; we have a fantastic working environment
- Passion for music and related arts or experience working with young people a plus
