Rock Crusher Working Supervisor

Position Overview

A skilled position to oversee the daily safe and efficient operation of rock crushing operations; actively participate in the oversight of the crew including recruitment, training, and retention; and is responsible for maintaining working condition of plant and support equipment, including minor servicing and maintenance or referring major problems to outside repair.

Job Responsibilities

• Determine daily work schedules such that daily operations of crew, plant equipment and materials meet production goals.
• Coordinate and supervise daily activities of two to ten people, including an ongoing skills and safety training program.
• Monitor material operation to ensure product quality.

• Perform basic maintenance and service on plant as required.
• Ability to weld using an arc welder or cutting torch is preferred.
• Ensure control house and plant area is clean and secure daily.
• Oversee truck scales and the loading of the trucks.
• Record and report production information.

• Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

• Three or more years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Communication skills must include the ability to: a) read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and memos; b) write short correspondences and memos.

• Math skills include the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Ability to apply common sense to understanding problems and develop and implement solutions.
• Ability to work well with others in a group or one on one setting.

• Must have a current and valid driver’s license.
• Must pass a drug testing; may be subject to medical exams and physical abilities testing.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
