Job Description - Lead Operator / Pre-Roll Technician

Position Summary

This role will primarily consist of operating our state-of-the-art pre rolled joint machine. This position requires a very technical/mechanical mind that is comfortable working on advanced machinery. This position is responsible for operating, cleaning, maintaining and increasing the efficiency of this machine.

Machine Operation

• Operate the pre-roll machine to its fullest potential

• Clean and maintain machine daily

• Troubleshoot issues and work with engineers to come up with solutions

• Find ways to decrease machine downtime

• Write SOPs on new findings for best machine operation

• Hit weekly production quotas set by Director of Sales and Production Lead

Inventory Management:

• Manage raw materials from in-take through to finished goods

• Communicate with Production Lead to build items in Flourish (3rd party software) using our in-house naming system

• Communicate with Production Lead when ready to re-tag product into Warehouse Package Tags using the proper item names

• Efficiently store & organize all raw materials and finished goods

• Once DOOBIES are rolled & converted, manage the flow of packs into cartons, and finally into master cases

• Prepare inventory reports on a weekly basis to provide to Director of Sales and Production Lead

• Work with Director of Production to ensure raw materials are kept at par levels

Production Duties:

• Operate all production equipment in a safe and compliant manner

• Evaluate and monitor machine efficiency, issues, and cleaning needs

• Communicate with Production Lead to make sure proper labels are printed per production batch

• Update Production Lead with production report

• Work with Director of Sales and Production Lead to increase production, improve efficiencies, and reduce cost

• Work closely with team to execute on group related projects

General Duties:

• Show up on time, and ready to work daily

• Daily record keeping & reporting on production numbers

• Ensure work space is cleaned at the end of each day

• Assist with month end inventory projects

Skills/Qualifications:

• Excellent mechanical skills

• Must be a problem solver

• Strong passion for cannabis & the cannabis industry

• Must keep up with current market trends & OLCC laws

• Have high energy, self-motivation and willingness to learn

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• Must have reliable transportation and perfect attendance

• Ability to stand, sit, & work in a warehouse environment for 8-9 hours a day

Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations:

• Valid State-Issued Driver’s License.

• 21 years of age or older.

• Valid OLCC Marijuana Handler’s Permit.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to stand/walk for up to 6 hours at a time.

• Must be able to climb up and down a step-ladder.

• Must be able to sit for up to 8 hours at a time.

• Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds safely and properly.

• Ability to work in a stressful, fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

• Manufacturing: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:
