Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled Roofer/Laborer to join our team. As a Roofer/Laborer, you will be responsible for assisting with various roofing projects and performing general labor tasks. This is a physically demanding role that requires attention to detail and the ability to work in various weather conditions. Duties: - Assist with the installation and repair of roofs - Remove old roofing materials and prepare surfaces for new materials - Measure and cut roofing materials to fit specific areas - Install insulation and vapor barriers - Apply roofing materials such as shingles, tiles, or metal sheets - Clean and maintain tools and equipment - Follow safety guidelines and protocols on job sites - Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient completion of projects Requirements: - Previous experience in roofing or construction is preferred - Knowledge of building and construction principles - Ability to read blueprints and follow instructions - Proficient in using hand tools and power tools - Strong physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects - Comfortable working at heights and in various weather conditions - Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills Skills: - Build - Frame carpentry - Stucco - Restore - Blueprint reading - Carpenter - Concrete forming - Maintenance Person - Masonry - Construction estimating Note: This is a paid position.
