Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled residential roofer to join our team. As one of our roofers you will be responsible for installation of materials as determined by the needs of each project. The ideal candidate would have experience in adjacent fields such as framing, siding, masonry, window and door installation. Priority will be given to experienced and driven candidates.

Duties:

- Inspect roofs for damage and determine the best course of action

- Repair or replace damaged or worn-out roofing materials

- Install new roofs on residential and commercial buildings

- Measure and cut roofing materials to fit specific dimensions

- Fabricate and install flashing around roof edges, vents, and chimneys

- Plumb roof surfaces to ensure proper water drainage

- Build scaffolding or use ladders to access roofs safely

- Install insulation and vapor barriers as needed

- Collaborate with other team members to complete projects efficiently

Qualifications:

- Proven experience as a Roofer or in a similar role

- Strong knowledge of roofing materials, tools, and techniques

- Proficient in blueprint reading and interpreting construction plans

- Familiarity with masonry work and frame carpentry

- Ability to fabricate and install various roofing components

- Knowledge of drywall installation is a plus

- Skilled in using hand tools and power tools safely

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

- Ability to work independently or as part of a team

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.60 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 50 per week
