Roofer jobs in Virginia Beach, VA

Duties:
- Install, repair, and maintain roofs using a variety of materials such as shingles, tiles, and metal
- Inspect roofs for damage and determine the best course of action for repairs
- Remove old roofing materials and prepare surfaces for new roofing installation
- Measure and cut roofing materials to fit specific areas
- Apply waterproofing materials to protect roofs from leaks
- Be able to give a quote on a roof and submit that back to honesthomehub.com

Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a roofer or in a related construction field is preferred
- Knowledge of different roofing materials and techniques
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications
- Strong physical stamina and ability to perform heavy lifting
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools commonly used in roofing projects
- Familiarity with caulking, stucco, and other sealing materials
- Basic understanding of construction estimating and measurements
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
