Building Administrator
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and serve meals following a menu and recipe guidelines for portion control, food temps, food and equipment sanitation, and required documentation.
Expectations:
1.) Prepare and serve residents a nourishing, palatable , well-balanced meal in a safe and timely manner.
2.) Prepare food following approved recipe and menus in adequate amounts to meet diet census needs,
3.) Serve accurate portions of food conserving nutritive value, enhancing flavor and appearance at the proper temperature.
4.) Clean as per the daily and weekly cleaning lists.
5.) Accurate recording of daily food usage, substitutions and temperatures.
6.) Reports inoperable, faulty or unsafe conditions, equipment and furniture.
7.) Attends staff meetings and in-services.
8.) Interacting with the residents to maintain residents food and drink, likes and dislikes.
9.) Completion of additional tasks as requested by the administrator, which may not be listed.
10.) Create menu's using cycle menu management from Gordons.
11.) Weekly food orders and ordering paper products.
12.) Weekly store run to pick up for what was not able to be ordered.
13.) Maintain receipts to send weekly to the central office.
14.) Disposing of expired foods.
15.) Maintaining a monthly budget.
16.) Restocking and cleaning of refrigerators in dining room areas on a daily basis.
17.) Ensure proper hygiene during food preperation.
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or general education diploma (GED)
1-3 years working in a commercial kitchen. Elder care experience preferred
Certifications or licenses requirements:
Driver’s license required for vehicle travel as needed.
Servsafe food handler certification preferred
CPR and First Aid required
