Room Chef - Casino jobs in Somerset, NJ

Rapidly growing restaurant equipment & supply company located in Flanders, NJ is currently seeking a full-time customer service associate to oversee a busy retail showroom and provide dedicated support to a dynamic sales team. Restaurant experience is a plus!

Open to a flexible schedule between 30-40/hr a week.

Must be a people person - this position involves dealing with customers face-to-face daily.

Duties & Responsibilities Include:

• Act as principal point of contact for customers via phone and in person
• Assist customers in product education and location within showroom
• Maintain proper inventory levels in showroom while keeping showroom neat and orderly
• Receive in supply orders and replenish inventory as needed
• Provide first response to sales inquiries and warranty service requests
• Order Entry
• Create and execute purchase orders
• Act as liaison to vendors and maintain open communication and dialogue regarding open orders
• Provide support to sales team in scheduling equipment deliveries and pickups
• Work closely with sales team to assist in managing all open projects from start to finish
• Willingness to learn about commercial kitchen equipment to assist sales team
• Other duties as directed

The Ideal Candidate Will Possess:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• High level of organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to multi-task and change gears on the fly
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment where no two days are ever the same
• Previous administrative/sales/retail experience required
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
