Receive reservations calls and create room reservations for guests visiting the hotel for a group event or transient visit. Utilizing the Property Management System software, search if the guest has an existing profile to make a reservation or create a new one, make the reservation with all required information and in the proper format, provide a confirmation number and explain any deposit or reservation processes that are applicable. Requires a positive approach and good phone etiquette, impeccable customer service, the ability to be able to provide explanations about rates, room types, amenties, etc. and the ability to upsell services. Make notes regarding frequent guests, VIPs, etc. that will enhance the guest's stay. When needed, will also assist at the Front Desk with guest check in and check out.
