    As we continue rapidly expanding into new geographies, new verticals, and new business partner API integrations, Ripe is seeking an exceptional Reservations Specialist responsible for creating an outstanding first impression over the phone and providing exceptional customer service by assisting in booking reservations while discovering the needs of travelers through a consultative sales approach.

    Ripe is headquartered in downtown Salt Lake City, Utah. Local candidates may be preferred with a 60% office time / 40% work-from-home option, with remote candidates additionally eligible based on qualification.

    About the Role:

    This critical role includes a broad range of skills and tasks including, but not limited to, answering and converting inbound calls, chats, and emails, maintaining hotel rates and inventory through established Ripe technologies and collaborating with the Client Success and Sales Teams for continuous growth.

    Responsibilities:

    • Answer and convert inbound leisure and group bookings via telephone calls, chats, and emails in the Reservations Department promptly, courteously, and according to established protocols
    • Assess travelers’ requests and inquiries, offering creative suggestions and recommendations tailored to travelers’ unique needs
    • Maintain a professional demeanor by exhibiting a positive attitude toward employees, managers, and travelers, modeling Ripe's core values
    • Research and maintain knowledge of product offerings
    • Assist lodging suppliers in basic questions

    About You:

    You possess exceptional communication skills and are confident conversing with a wide range of travelers over multiple media platforms. You possess an aptitude for learning and using new software and are a competent problem solver who is quick on their feet. Your passion starts with people, and you want to leverage your experience to continuously deliver high-level service to our travelers. You have the ability to demonstrate critical attention to detail and are driven by measurable revenue growth goals.

    Requirements:

    • High school diploma required
    • Minimum of 1 year customer service or industry experience required
    • Computer literacy and ability to learn new software
    • Empathetic, positive attitude with a desire to help our client’s travelers
    • Ability to enter data quickly and accurately while communicating with travelers on the phone
    • Ability to work weekend shifts Saturday & Sunday, in addition to three weekdays based on the evolving needs of the business
