Position Summary:
The Tully Lake Assistant Campground Manager supports oversight of the daily operations and maintenance of Tully Lake Campground and its primitive camp spots as well as retail and recreational operations. The assistant manager supports the manager in providing a safe, clean and enjoyable visitor experience for campers and ensuring that the campground is operating efficiently and effectively.
Pay Rate: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
In This Role You Will:
Essential Functions:
Manage campground staff, including hiring, training and schedulingrangers
Support oversight of campground operations, including the maintenance of facilities, grounds and equipment
Ensure compliance with all federal, state and local regulations
Support development and maintenance of campground policies and procedures, including safety protocols
Process reservations, handle customer inquiries and resolve complaints
Support marketing strategies to attract new customers, including use of social media accounts
Ensure customer satisfaction by regularly seeking feedback and addressing concerns
Qualifications:
One to three years of experience at a campground or similar facility
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Strong leadership and decision-making abilities
Ability to work effectively under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
Experience in hotel operations or retail management is a plus
A satisfactory criminal background (CORI) check
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays and some overnights.
Other Requirements:
At least two years of experience in managing or supervising staff.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Knowledge of campground operations and regulations.
