Room Reservations Manager oversees the room reservation staff to ensure maximum customer satisfaction. Trains reservation agents and front desk operators to make room reservations for customers. Being a Room Reservations Manager forecasts regular room bookings and designs promotional programs to increase the sales of un-booked rooms. Ensures rooms are not overbooked and that guests receive requested rooms. Additionally, Room Reservations Manager handles any room disputes. May require a bachelor's degree. Needed:
Full-time position weekends and some weekdays. Days and times are not set in stone, there is some flexibility. Saturday hours can be during the 10:00am to 10:00pm time slots, not more than 10 hours. Sunday and weekday hours will fall into the 10:00am to 7:30pm range. Also you must attend our mandatory Tuesday evening staff meeting from 5:00pm to 7:00pm.
This position entails all the jobs needed to run a tasting room with the staff of 30 servers (approximately 10-12 people max per shift) and all the jobs to keep a tasting room and the property and tasting rooms running smoothly, (the job does not include scheduling).
Skills needed:
Training new hires.
Learn our wines, their stories, and how they compare to similar popular wines.
General knowledge of the wine-making process.
Teaching and presenting a fun, informational tasting experience to patrons.
Assist and teach proper ways to clean the tasting room, beer taps, property areas, and bathrooms.
You will learn and train on how to fulfill outgoing shipments and orders.
Facilitate the proper way to restock and organize the tasting room.
Serve our wines, and beer, and learn how to make our wine slushies and Sangria and wine cocktails.
Present yourself as upbeat and outgoing.
You must be physically able to pick up a case of full bottles, 40 lbs.
You must be physically able to be on your feet most of the day.
Knowledge and skills on how to run a team and be good at keeping great team spirit.
You will learn and train others in all the jobs that we need to make the tasting room run smoothly.
You will be one of four managers, this is the weekend shift mainly, weekdays available to make this a full-time position. Part-time weekend manager is possible.
A Pennsylvania 2-hour RAMP course will be required to be completed during the first month of hire, which can be completed online, and we will pay for the course.
