Being a Room Reservations Manager forecasts regular room bookings and designs promotional programs to increase the sales of un-booked rooms. Ensures rooms are not overbooked and that guests receive requested rooms. Additionally, Room Reservations Manager handles any room disputes. May require a bachelor's degree. ABOUT THE ROLE:
The Dining Room Manager is responsible for the overall operation, coordination, appearance and
maintenance of the dining area and waitress station and ensuring that courteous and efficient
services are delivered.

Responsible for the overall operation, coordination, appearance, and maintenance of multiple dining rooms to create and maintain a positive experience for all residents.
Provide leadership, development and training, counseling, scheduling and oversight of an assistant manager, multiple restaurant supervisors and servers.
Work with the recruiting manager in conducting interviews and onboarding new staff.
Train restaurant staff in customer service, efficient serving techniques and how to maintain dining rooms in proper order.
Conduct daily pre-shift meetings, in-service training and tailored training courses.
Responsible for preparing server schedules according to operational needs and budgetary compliance.
Oversee the point of sale system including making weekly menu modifications, resident reservations and billing questions.
Place orders with outside vendors and with an internal purchasing agent.
Assist with the planning, set up, service and cleanup of special events.
Oversight and distribution of employee reward program.

Minimum of 5 years restaurant or senior living experience including managing a team.
Experience with developing and implementing server training programs a plus.
