JOB SUMMARY: 

The Reservations Agent is responsible for providing exceptional customer service while efficiently handling room reservations for the hotel. This role plays a crucial part in maximizing room revenue and ensuring a seamless booking experience for our guests. The Reservations Agent should be knowledgeable about the hotel's services, facilities, and operational hours to assist guests effectively.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Promptly answer all incoming calls in a friendly, efficient, and courteous manner.
• Address guest inquiries regarding hotel services, facilities, and operational hours with accuracy and enthusiasm.
• Book room reservations, ensuring the use of standard company rate quoting scenarios to maximize room revenue.
• Provide guests with information on available room types, rates, and any special packages or discounts.
• Collaborate closely with the Sales Department to handle group bookings effectively.
• Communicate reservation details, requirements, and special requests to ensure group bookings run smoothly.
• Handle special reservations, including V.I.P. reservations, packages, and discounts, with a personalized and attentive approach.
• Ensure that special requests are fulfilled to enhance the guest's experience.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a reservations or customer service role is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficiency in using reservation software and computer systems.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly and courteous demeanor.
• Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
