Rocky Woods Nature Explorers is a children’s summer day camp located at Rocky Woods in Medfield, MA. Rocky Woods is a year-round destination for outdoor lovers and a prized habitat for songbirds, bullfrogs, beavers, and painted turtles. At camp, we have an interdisciplinary, hands-on approach to learning in the fields and forests, by the ponds, and on the nature trails. Our unique camp connects children to the land and the natural systems that support us all, while spending time outdoors, exploring, making friends, and having fun.

The Camp Educator position at Rocky Woods is a seasonal role. The typical schedule for the full-time Camp Educator is a 36-hour work week, Monday through Friday for the season. The camp season runs from June 26–August 18 8:30 AM-3:30 PM and a mandatory staff training the week of June 5 –June 9. The Camp Educator is primarily responsible for the planning and daily execution of camp programs and activities and direct supervision of campers 5-9 years old, depending on the assigned age group.
