Position Objective
As a Reservations Coordinator, you will be responsible for assisting our guests with expert and personalized service by way of voice and digital communication. You will work directly with guests to answer questions, make suggestions and to confirm room, dining, transportation and tour reservations. You will be empowered to make creative decisions using tools and market insight to help deliver on the travel needs of our guests, to drive revenue, and continued guest loyalty. This job is paid hourly, and is in a call center environment.
Essential Job Functions

Promote best-in-class reservation sales, and customer service solution.

Provide guests with information and personalized recommendations based upon your extensive knowledge of all hotel facilities, as well as local and area restaurants/attractions.

Provide friendly and professional service while adhering to the Forbes Travel Guide Five Star service.

Should maintain a keen interest in luxury to inspire our guest decisions through personalized service that exceeds every expectation.

Work closely with internal departments and external business partners to provide guests with an exceptional pre-arrival experience.

Applies specialized customer service skills to include extraordinary follow-up, communication, rapport building and organizational skills.

Uses creativity to own and proactively resolve all customer problems quickly and effectively, ensuring guest satisfaction

Must be self-motivated and sales service driven

Ability to work in an environment that demands exceptional performance despite possible difficulties and obstacles.
Education/Experience
Education:
High School diploma or relevant field of work or an equivalent combination of education and work experience

The ideal candidate for this role should possess at least 2 years or more of progressive work experience in the below:

Experience working in a hotel or hospitality environment.

Experience in Reservation Sales

Experience in Concierge related work

Experience working directly with customers in a customer service environment

Experience working in a sales oriented environment
Must have:

Above average verbal and written communication skills – listening, verbal and written.

A fully flexible schedule including weekdays, weekends, mornings and early evenings

The ability to tailor information for an effective customer interaction.

Demonstrated clear, concise and professional communications skills, including adapting both verbal and written communications to the needs of the department.

Demonstrated ability to implement and track multiple requests at one time.
