About Trustees Ipswich Camps
Appleton Farm Camp is a children’s day camp located at Appleton Farms in Ipswich, MA. The 1,000-acre farm is the oldest continuously operating farm in the country. The working dairy, vibrant learning garden, barnyard animals, beautiful trails, engaging education programs, and deep history make this a special place to visit and work. At camp, we have an interdisciplinary, hands-on approach to learning, in the fields and forests, the Learning Garden, the barnyard, and the kitchen. Our unique camp connects children to the land, and the natural systems that support us all, while spending time outdoors, exploring, making friends, and having fun. Camp runs in weekly sessions for 90 campers from June 24-August 23. For more information, visit https://thetrustees.org/program/appleton-farm-camp/
SummerQuest at the Crane Estate is a nature-based day camp with the mission to get children outside. We employ creativity and curiosity to foster individual development, community, and personal connection to nature while inspiring lifelong confidence in and respect for the environment. The program sprawls over 2,100 acres of dunes, barrier beach, tidepools, pine forests, salt marsh, and grassy fields, offering varied habitats for exploration. Each week, staff guide campers in exploring a new theme, from marine mania, to a week of wizarding, exploring the art and history of the Estate, or learning the secrets of nature survival. Working at SummerQuest provides staff with the opportunity to share your passion for nature and inspire the next generation, build job skills via training and a collaborative work environment, and forge a connection with The Trustees. SummerQuest serves families from the North Shore and beyond, and scholarships help to broaden our reach and make programming more accessible to all. Camp runs in weekly sessions for 70 campers from June 24-August 23. For more information, visit https://thetrustees.org/program/summerquest-at-the-crane-estate-ipswich/
