The ideal candidate will primarily responsible for overseeing the daily training & development of the Reservations Agents. The position of the Reservation Supervisor main functions are sales training and coaching, working towards revenue goals, increasing conversation, performance tracking and the organization of colleague resources productivity, call compliance, lead follow-up, call exception report, etc. Must be willing to work varied shifts with alternating days and times, serving as back-up to the Reservations Manager.This position is not commission based and there are no cold callings.**Additional incentives available based upon performanceResponsibilities :- To provide the most professional and thorough guests services to all incoming guests inquiries in a timely manner complimenting the standards set for the resort.
- Imputing reservations into the PMS efficiently and timely with the utmost accuracy.
- Assist the Front Office of each resort with completing daily arrivals reports including reviewing on the books reservations for accuracy, have the necessary deposit details, and ensuring that they are active with appropriate rates.
- Assist in maintaining the inventory as it relates to observing “opened” and “closed” dates to utilize availability through room sales for maximum occupancy without overselling the resort.
- Act as a welcome ambassador by offering full detailed descriptions of the resort and the available rates, while consistently and effectively upselling the resort and packages.
- Maximize the potential profit of the rooms department as it pertains to occupancy and ADR.
- Respond to guest inquiry via email or phone calls with the utmost professionalism and with thorough and accurate responses.
- Operate in compliance with all local, state, and federal laws and government regulations.
- Maintain and ensure a high level of professionalism throughout the department and staff.
- Ensure that all staff members smile and greet all guests and co-workers.
- Expedite special projects as requested within the timeframe required.
- Communicate effectively with all departments.
- Attend quarterly departmental meetings with staff.
- Assist in all property emergency procedures and protect both our guests and employees on a day-to-day basis.
- Always maintain a safe and secure environment for both the employees and guests.
Qualifications :- Minimum 3 years prior work experience in reservations in hotel and or resort environment.
- Minimum two years prior supervisory or management experience.
- Requires a solid decision maker that can make effective decisions under limited supervision.
- Must have computer and systems proficiencies; particularly Microsoft Excel skills and solid knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook and PowerPoint.
- Requires excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate complex technical data so that it is easily and concisely understood.
