Room Reservations Supervisor - Casino jobs in Youngstown, OH

We are looking for a successful and enthusiastic event planner/coordinator to plan, organize, and run events from conception to completion. Event coordinator responsibilities include providing outstanding customer service, planning and organizing all details for events to meet customer and business expectations, and successfully executing events from start to finish.

Responsibilities

• Event planning, design and production while managing all project delivery elements within time limits
• Liaise with clients to identify their needs and to ensure customer satisfaction
• Provide estimates, pre-event invoicing and payment collection for all aspects of the event and rentals as required. Follows set timelines for payments and final counts.

• Propose ideas to improve provided services and event quality
• Organize facilities and manage all event details.
• Ensure compliance with insurance, legal, health and safety obligations
• Specify staff requirements and coordinate their activities
• Cooperate with marketing and PR to capture event photos to promote on business pages.
• Proactively handle any arising issues and troubleshoot any emerging problems on the event day
• Conduct pre- and post – event evaluations and report on outcomes
• Research area market, identify event opportunities, and generate interest
• Lead and direct banquet staff in cleaning, room set up, event execution, and event clean up.
• Work week is Monday to Saturday.

• Proven experience as an event planner or organizer
• Strong administrative and organizational skills
• Excellent time management and communication skills
• Sales skills and ability to build productive business relationships
• Ability to manage multiple projects independently
• MS Office proficiency
• Willing to submit references

Compensation

• Salary dependent on experience.

Pay: From $37,000.00 per year
