The Position
Living Room Realty is seeking a dynamic Office Manager (internally referred to as a Membership Services Coordinator) to bring the highest level of customer service to Living Room’s SE Portland headquarters. Success in this role will consist of highly satisfied brokers and team members who feel well supported in a safe welcoming space for all.

Responsibilities
Create a welcoming, beautiful, functioning environment for our brokers, their clients, and the community.
Act as the first point of contact for the company as folks enter the office, along with phone and email.
Coordinate and host events, broker gatherings, street fairs, etc.
Creatively communicate important information, events and messaging to brokers and staff.
Provide excellent service focused on helping brokers create sustainable, successful businesses.
Learn the tools used by the brokers so you can promote their use and offer support and training.
Lead office orientations for new brokers.
Work closely with the entire staff to set and exceed company goals in alignment with our values.
Maintain office and supplies ensuring that brokers always have what they need to be successful.
Clearly document new and changing processes that pertain to your role.
Manage Living Room swag sales and inventory.
Write engaging descriptive copy for use in marketing materials.
Provide proof reading services to colleagues when needed.
Be available to visit each of Living Room’s 4 metro offices to transfer supplies, attend meetings, provide coverage, host events, etc.
Breakdown of Time
Here is a sketch of how your time would be divided, keeping in mind that special circumstances would cause this to change:
40% interfacing and building relationships with members & staff
40% computer based projects & written communications
15% office management and upkeep
5% company/team meetings
Qualifications (ideally, 1-2 years of each)
Experience with Gmail, Google Apps, and Apple computers required
Experience in customer service
Comfortable learning and teaching internet based software systems
Self-starter with proven ability to meet or exceed goals and deadlines
Highly detail-oriented, stellar proofreading, and written communication skills
Friendly and welcoming, able to communicate easily with diverse populations
Proven ability to adapt to the changing needs of the company
Design skills and Adobe InDesign experience preferred
