Titan International Inc. a global leading wheel and tire assembly manufacturer for the agriculture, construction, forestry and mining markets, has an opening for a Curing Room Supervisor.

The Curing Room Supervisor is responsible for the supervision of all department employees and must ensure compliance with all safety, quality, quantity and housekeeping standards. Uses independent judgment and exercises discretion in executing their duties. This position requires a high degree of confidentiality. Must be able to work any shift.

Essential Functions:

• Will control production and effectively organize the resources to be most efficient.
• Will determine work procedures, prepare work schedule and expedite work flow.
• Issue written and oral instructions.
• Communication goals and give clear instructions.
• Assigns duties and follow-up on work results and conformance to policies and procedures.
• Studies and standardize procedures to improve efficiency of associates.
• Maintain harmony among workers and resolve problems and complaints.
• Performs or assist employees in performing duties.
• Control/monitor daily defect rates.
• Maintain acceptable defect labels with direct responsibility for shutting down offending presses.
• Must be able to work in hot environment.
• Will perform other duties as assigned.

Required Education and Experience:

• High School diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent combination of education, experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the essential functions of this position.
• Prefer two (2) years’ related experience.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organizations.
• Ability to compute numbers as required for performance ratings and reporting results.
• Ability to solve problems and deal with a variety of concrete variable situations where only limited standardization exists.
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Travel:

No travel is expected for this position.

Work Environment:

Majority of the time will be spent on production floor and an office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

Physical Demands:

May need to lift up to 50 lbs. on occasions.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
