    SUPERVISES: Cage Service Representatives


    WORKING HOURS: This is an hourly position. The incumbent is expected to work the necessary hours to meet the needs of a 24 hour establishment.

    SUMMARY: Under the direct supervision of the Manager of Cage, supervises the activities of the Cage Service Representatives. Creates a welcome and entertaining environment for all guests by providing courteous prompt and professional customer service at all times. Greets guests and works in conjunction with all staff members to enhance customer service and overall image projection & fulfill all cage and guest service specific functions.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    1. Possesses a good knowledge of all slot and table games cage functions.
    2. Assists in the scheduling and training of Cage Service Representatives, as directed.
    3. Assists in cage variance investigations.
    4. Ensures accurate cash transactions are completed.
    5. Assists with the count when needed.
    6. Maintains a neat and clean vault and cage/cashier area.
    7. Ensures cashiers are providing professional patron service.
    8. Assists in resolving patron disputes.
    9. Communicates with the Director and Manager regarding all financial transactions and activity of the cashiers.
    10. Assists cashiers when needed.
    11. Ensures proper Internal Control Standards and operating policies are in place at all times.
    12. Promotes the Players Club, entertainment, games, and eating establishments of the casinos; stays informed of events, promotions and entertainment at the casino.
    13. Supervises Cage Service Representatives on assigned shift and monitors staff productivity levels.
    14. Proactive in problem solving and exercises appropriate discretion in identifying situations that require management attention; routinely strives to build and maintain rapport with customers.
    15. Extended level of authority to create modifications and reports on Casino Market Place player tracking system and provides extended level of customer service to our guests with increased levels of system redemption authority
    16. Monitors inventory levels and facilitate supply and collateral orders.
    17. Possesses a broad knowledge of the various games throughout the casino.
    18. Develops and administers staff training; Attends all required meetings and training.

    SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with policies. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, termination, planning, assigning and directing work, appraising performance, reward and disciplining employees, addressing complaints and resolving problems.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and ability required.

    1. High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
    2. Minimum of one (1) year supervisory experience or equivalent required.
    3. Prior gaming and/or hospitality experience desirable.
    4. Must be proficient in MS-Windows, MS-Office Suite, and database applications.
    5. General knowledge of casino games, rules, procedures, and regulations pertaining to Casino operations preferred.
    6. Must be friendly, upbeat and exhibit a desire to help our guests and co-workers.
    7. Must be willing to work as a team other department staff and levels of management.
    8. Must be willing to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
    9. Must be able to work independently.
    10. Must be able to get along with co-workers and work as a team.
    11. Must present a professional appearance at all times.
    12. Must be able to maintain a high degree of confidentiality with respect to all matters pertaining to the gaming enterprise business.

    EDUCATION:

    • High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.

    LANGUAGE SKILLS:

    • Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills are important to the successful conduct of this position.
    • Ability to write accurate, grammatically correct, polished reports and business correspondence.
    • Must be able to speak with the public in a professional manner.

    MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:

    • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure-must.

    REASONING ABILITY:

    • Ability to proactively streamline processes for company's return on investment.
    • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
    • Ability to interpret an extensive variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
    • Ability to process detailed work and requests for information or assistance in a timely manner.
    • Ability to apply regulatory and procedure doctrine, concepts, and policy to practical situations.

    LICENSES, CERTIFICATES, REGISTRATIONS:

    • Must be able to obtain and maintain a gaming license from the Dry Creek Gaming Commission.

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

    • Must be able to maneuver around all areas of the casino.
    • Must be able to sit and/or stand for extended periods of time.
    • Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds.
    • Must have manual dexterity to operate a computer and other necessary office equipment.
    • Must be able to bend, reach, stoop, kneel, twist and grip items.
    • Must be able to respond to visual and audio cues.
