SAP Basis Consultant provides technical support and leadership on SAP Basis systems including establishing standards and requirements, evaluating and directing enhancements, and implementing solutions for performance monitoring, and systems configuration, design and implementation. Designs and develops SAP architecture requirements and specifications to ensure the system is meeting corporate needs. Being a SAP Basis Consultant requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. To be a SAP Basis Consultant typically requires 10+ years of related experience. Works on advanced, complex technical projects or business issues requiring state of the art technical or industry knowledge. Works autonomously. Job Description
We are seeking an experienced SAP MM Consultant for a contract position. As an SAP MM specialist, you will play a crucial role in managing projects and configuring the SAP MM module. Your responsibilities will include:
Project Management:- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements.
- Develop project plans, timelines, and deliverables.
- Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion.
SAP MM Configuration:- Configure and customize SAP MM to meet business needs.
- Optimize procurement processes, inventory management, and material valuation.
- Maintain master data related to materials, vendors, and purchasing.
Inventory Management:- Monitor stock levels, reorder points, and safety stock.
- Implement inventory control strategies to minimize excess or shortage.
- Collaborate with warehouse teams for efficient material handling.
Documentation and Training:- Document configuration changes, user manuals, and process guidelines.
- Provide training to end-users on SAP MM functionality.
- Support users during system upgrades and enhancements.
Qualifications:- Minimum 5 years of experience in SAP MM configuration and project management.
- Strong knowledge of SAP MM modules, including procurement, inventory management, and material valuation.
- Certification in SAP MM is a plus.
- Experience with Message Management
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
