Designs and develops SAP architecture requirements and specifications to ensure the system is meeting corporate needs. Being a SAP Basis Consultant requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. To be a SAP Basis Consultant typically requires 10+ years of related experience. Works on advanced, complex technical projects or business issues requiring state of the art technical or industry knowledge. Works autonomously. Basis Partners Transportation Design Team is growing! This position will integrate with our very strong and capable team of Design Leads and Design Engineers to continue our firm's rapid growth. The position’s purpose is to provide the Transportation Design Practice with:
This role will work closely with the Transportation Design Practice Lead in identifying strategic pursuits, managing and developing client relationships, project delivery, and department and organizational planning needed to develop and meet goals and objectives of the practice area now and in the future.
The role will manage project teams (Design Leads and Design Engineers) throughout project lifecycles, from developing winning proposals to proactively leading and managing the team through the entire project life cycle (project kickoff, budget, schedule, technical requirements, contractual obligations, and client communications) in support of project deliverables.
Project management: Leading Design Teams on transportation projects of all sizes. (About 50% of their time).
Business development: Manage the pursuit of potential projects, including the necessary business development to pre-position for proposals and lead proposal efforts; and to be strongly engaged with the industry and relevant organizations to maintain relationships and connections. (About 35% of time).
Staff management, operations, and planning: Supervising team, overseeing operations and planning for the group. Acquiring the necessary talent to support the business plan. (About 15% of time).
Location of position: Colorado Springs or Denver. Will be required to attend meetings and functions in these cities and other surrounding cities. As the business grows in the Denver/Northern Colorado market, there will be an opportunity to support opening an office in the Denver area.
