SAP Basis Consultant provides technical support and leadership on SAP Basis systems including establishing standards and requirements, evaluating and directing enhancements, and implementing solutions for performance monitoring, and systems configuration, design and implementation. Designs and develops SAP architecture requirements and specifications to ensure the system is meeting corporate needs. Being a SAP Basis Consultant requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. To be a SAP Basis Consultant typically requires 10+ years of related experience. Works on advanced, complex technical projects or business issues requiring state of the art technical or industry knowledge. Works autonomously. Proficiency in scripting languages such as Groovy and Java for custom development.
Ability to develop custom functions and modules.
Experience with transport management in SAP CI.
Proficient in implementing robust error handling mechanism, ability to setup monitoring and logging for integration processes.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Prior experience involving client/customer interaction.
Experience on other SAP BTP offerings such as SAP APIM
