Job Title: SAP Basis Manager

The Role: We are seeking an experienced SAP Basis Manager to lead our SAP Basis team. This role involves overseeing the SAP system's performance, managing the SAP environment, ensuring system security and compliance, and leading upgrade projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SAP Basis administration, leadership skills, and the ability to strategize and implement SAP solutions that support our business goals.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the SAP Basis team, setting clear objectives, evaluating performance, and facilitating professional development.
• Oversee the installation, configuration, upgrade, and maintenance of SAP systems, including ECC, S/4HANA, BW, CRM, and other SAP products.
• Ensure optimal performance and availability of SAP systems through proactive monitoring, tuning, and troubleshooting.
• Manage SAP security, including role-based access control, user administration, and compliance with security policies and audits.
• Coordinate with IT and business teams to plan and execute SAP projects, including upgrades, migrations, and new implementations.
• Develop and maintain system documentation, policies, and procedures.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance in the evaluation, selection, and implementation of SAP technologies and tools.
• Manage relationships with SAP and other third-party vendors.
• Prepare and manage the SAP Basis team's budget and resources.
• Stay abreast of the latest SAP technologies and industry best practices, making recommendations for improvements and innovations.
• Help with SOX audit

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in SAP Basis administration, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of SAP system architecture, database management, and operating systems (e.g., Linux, Windows).
• Experience with SAP upgrades, migrations, and integrations.
• Proficiency in SAP system monitoring, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
• Solid understanding of SAP security and compliance requirements.
• Excellent project management skills and experience managing complex SAP projects.
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and mentor team members.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.
• SAP certifications are highly desirable.
