Settlers best Credit Union, a division of Wings, is currently searching for a Relationship Banking Specialist I at our Appleton, WI location. The Relationship Banking Specialist serves as a subject-matter-expert and is primarily responsible for providing superior service virtually and in-person while enthusiastically, accurately, and efficiently meeting the diverse needs of our members. This position sells accounts and electronic banking services, processes various digital and in-person account transactions, and maintains service delivery channels.

Responsibilities:

• Establishes and expands member relationships by promoting and selling depository accounts as permitted by SbCU policy and regulation.
• Sells, and promotes the usage of, digital banking products and services to prospective, new, and existing business and consumer members who contact virtually or visit the location.
• Establishes user access to various digital banking platforms.
• Provides ongoing member education and navigational support following adoption of digital banking products and services.
• Responds to member requests and provides required assistance which may include, but is not limited to, the following: enabling digital banking users, updating member personal information or account information/ access, facilitating foreign transactions, originating stop payments or wires, and performing research.
• Processes various digital and in-person account transactions.
• Delivers seamless problem resolution for member technical and service issues, gathering necessary information and providing timely virtual or in-person updates through completion.
• Identifies inter-departmental cross-sell opportunities and refers existing members and prospects to the appropriate department for follow up.
• Performs daily departmental tasks, account and system maintenance, and project-related assignments.
• Works collaboratively with the team, demonstrates flexibility.
• Adheres to established policies and procedures to mitigate risk.
• Serves on bank committees as necessary.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Outstanding attention to detail, high level of accuracy
• Proficient with MS Office products and general office equipment
• Experience related to virtual or digital service, sales, or support
• Previous cash handling, member service, and/or sales experience
• Demonstrated ability to multi-task and adapt to evolving technologies and work conditions
• Some knowledge of banking and deposit products and services preferred
• Minimum of a high school diploma
