SB Financial Services Relationship Manager develops and manages banking relationships with small business customers to acquire new business, sell financial products and services and grow the portfolio. Prospects for new customers, upsell opportunities, and referrals. Being a SB Financial Services Relationship Manager develops and maintains strong relationships with referral sources. Engages with existing customers to understand their financial needs and provide suggestions for products and services that benefit small businesses throughout the business cycle. Additionally, SB Financial Services Relationship Manager serves as point of contact and advocates for customers to answer questions, resolve issues, and provide product information. Maintains an in-depth understanding of product offerings and coordinates with other areas of the bank to upsell or deliver services to customers. Monitors and maintains assigned portfolio to ensure appropriate risk profile. Follows all regulatory and organizational policies and procedures. Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent.   • What You'll Do

    As a Relationship Manager within our Customer Care area, you will play a pivotal role in developing and nurturing deep relationships with advisors, plan sponsors, and third-party administrators operating within our 10M - 25M market segment across the NJ, NY, and New England territory. With a portfolio of 60 accounts, you will serve as a strategic partner, offering innovative and tailored solutions to meet our clients' business objectives such as retention, growth, and retirement readiness.
     
    Here are a few examples of the kinds of things you'll do:
    • Collaborate with the plan sponsor and the advisor on plan design, investments, retirement readiness, services and new opportunities.
    • Plan level health reviews.
    • Problem solving complex issues.

    Who You Are

    • Bachelor's degree or 8 years of equivalent experience required
    • 2 years retirement industry experience
    • Must become an associated person of Principal Securities, Inc
    • Qualified Plan knowledge strongly preferred (Defined Benefit, Defined Contribution)
    • Excellent demonstrated leadership, negotiation, presentation, organizational, and problem-solving skills required, as well as superior interpersonal, analytical, and oral and written communication skills
    • Must be assertive and entrepreneurial
    • Travel required (20 - 25%), mostly day travel but there will be some overnight travel, as well.

    Licensing will be required based on state/federal laws and/or company policy in accordance with current licensing policy. The below licenses are required within 5 months of employment:

      • Successful Registration as an Investment Company Products/Variable contracts Limited Representative (FINRA Series 6 or equivalent and FINRA Series 63).
      • Resident Life and Health appointment must be attained.

    Salary Range Information

    Salary ranges below reflect targeted base salaries. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation for all roles will be based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.
    Salary Range (Non-Exempt expressed as hourly; Exempt expressed as yearly)

    $109200 - $147600 / year
    Time Off Program

    Flexible Time Off (FTO) is provided to salaried (exempt) employees and provides the opportunity to take time away from the office with pay for vacation, personal or short-term illness. Employees don’t accrue a bank of time off under FTO and there is no set number of days provided.

    This position is remote within the territory due to local client meetings.  The territory for this role includes New York, New Jersey and New England area.  Open to candidates within reasonable driving distance.
