SB Financial Services Relationship Manager develops and manages banking relationships with small business customers to acquire new business, sell financial products and services and grow the portfolio. Prospects for new customers, upsell opportunities, and referrals. Being a SB Financial Services Relationship Manager develops and maintains strong relationships with referral sources. Engages with existing customers to understand their financial needs and provide suggestions for products and services that benefit small businesses throughout the business cycle. Additionally, SB Financial Services Relationship Manager serves as point of contact and advocates for customers to answer questions, resolve issues, and provide product information. Maintains an in-depth understanding of product offerings and coordinates with other areas of the bank to upsell or deliver services to customers. Monitors and maintains assigned portfolio to ensure appropriate risk profile. Follows all regulatory and organizational policies and procedures. Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent. Typically reports to a manager. The SB Financial Services Relationship Manager occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. To be a SB Financial Services Relationship Manager typically requires 2 -4 years of related experience.     Position Responsibilities: Structure financing solutions for a wide variety of commercial and ag businesses. Grow a loan portfolio that is primarily CDFI focused. Negotiate fair terms for new and existing lending requests. Drive the loan origination system to provide timely customer experience. Manage all aspects of a portfolio including past dues, renewals, ticklers, covenant monitoring, risk rating identification, and new loan pipeline Communicate effectively between internal and external customers Provide leadership in the bank, in local civic and nonprofit organizations; to improve themselves, their co-workers, and their community.     3 years of commercial/AG experience in one or a combination of portfolio management, commercial/AG lender, senior level credit analysis

    Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals

    Proven track record of upholding values and strong moral character

    Desired Qualifications - A BS/BA degree or higher in Business Administration, economics, accounting, finance or other business related field.
    Formal credit training
    Experience in Sales

    BSA Requirements:
    It is the responsibility of all employees to make all reasonable efforts to identify suspicious cash activity which may be associated with customer attempts to avoid the reporting requirements of the BSA or government or federal tax reporting, as well as potential money laundering resulting from criminal / illegal activities. All suspicious activity, regardless of the amount involved in the transaction, must be reported to a supervisor or Branch Manager for further investigation and possible reporting by the Bank Secrecy Officer to the Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN).

    No director, officer, employee, or agent who reports a suspicious transaction under the requirements of the BSA may notify any person involved in the transaction that the transaction has been reported.

    Each employee of the bank shall be required to complete Bank Secrecy Act / Suspicious Activity training periodically which is commensurate with the duties of their position.
