SB Financial Services Relationship Manager develops and manages banking relationships with small business customers to acquire new business, sell financial products and services and grow the portfolio. Prospects for new customers, upsell opportunities, and referrals. Being a SB Financial Services Relationship Manager develops and maintains strong relationships with referral sources. Engages with existing customers to understand their financial needs and provide suggestions for products and services that benefit small businesses throughout the business cycle. Additionally, SB Financial Services Relationship Manager serves as point of contact and advocates for customers to answer questions, resolve issues, and provide product information. Maintains an in-depth understanding of product offerings and coordinates with other areas of the bank to upsell or deliver services to customers. Monitors and maintains assigned portfolio to ensure appropriate risk profile. Follows all regulatory and organizational policies and procedures. Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent. A B.S. or B.A. degree in a business-related field or equivalent knowledge.
A minimum of two (2) years of experience in related positions normally required.
Responsible for actively participating in the bank's sales and business development program; performing various duties to develop new mortgage business, including but not limited customarily and regularly engaging in sales activities away from the Bank’s offices and any home office; reporting pertinent information to the immediate supervisor and providing required information on sales and service activities; maintaining a current knowledge of applicable laws and regulations.
Essential Duties
1. May attend sales and trade meetings as the bank's representative to recommend new business and to gain information and leads on prospective accounts.
2. Performs tasks which are supportive in nature to the essential functions of the job, but which may be altered or re-designed depending upon individual or departmental circumstances.
