SB Financial Services Relationship Manager develops and manages banking relationships with small business customers to acquire new business, sell financial products and services and grow the portfolio. Prospects for new customers, upsell opportunities, and referrals. Being a SB Financial Services Relationship Manager develops and maintains strong relationships with referral sources. Engages with existing customers to understand their financial needs and provide suggestions for products and services that benefit small businesses throughout the business cycle. Additionally, SB Financial Services Relationship Manager serves as point of contact and advocates for customers to answer questions, resolve issues, and provide product information. Maintains an in-depth understanding of product offerings and coordinates with other areas of the bank to upsell or deliver services to customers. Monitors and maintains assigned portfolio to ensure appropriate risk profile. Follows all regulatory and organizational policies and procedures. Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent. Typically reports to a manager. The SB Financial Services Relationship Manager occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. We are currently looking to add to our team with an exciting opportunity as a Commercial Lines Customer Service Representative. This position will have the primary responsibility for policy maintenance and service of an assigned portion of accounts. The individual is expected to provide prompt, accurate, and courteous service to those clients. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Manage emails, mail, voicemail, agency management activities and self-audit reports. Explore all opportunities for exemplary service, working to maximize client/account retention by managing renewals, negotiating best terms and pricing, marketing where needed, clarifying coverage, demonstrating product knowledge and final review/approval of client facing documents. Conduct quarterly or mid-term client review, explore opportunities for risk management, attend in-person client visits and presentations as able. Responsible for a book of business not otherwise assigned to a producer. Confirm appropriate coverage has been placed or at least offered/recommended. If offered/recommended coverage has been rejected, ensure appropriate documentation is obtained. Oversee renewal process, change request, and endorsement process according to agency guidelines by delegating to appropriate team member. Receive, review, and document all client and carrier correspondence in our agency management system delegating to team members as appropriate. Review follow up (pending) list on a daily basis and take appropriate action. Ensure proper coding of agency commission, risk advisor commission, agency/branch/department structure and service team. Transact agency bill items unless delegated, review and act on all account receivable items and bill/payment discrepancies. Oversee the cancellation process and (potential) missed expiration report according to the agency guidelines. Promote and maintain good relationships with clients and carriers. Provide back-up coverage for department team members. Comply with agency standards, policies, and procedures. Demonstrate (by your personal example) a strong, positive, team-oriented approach with your interactions with others. Possess and maintain active P & C License(s) - Preferred or must obtain within 90 days of hire. Individual should have a working knowledge of commercial insurance, experience preferred. Technology Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams). Knowledge of Agency Management Systems; Applied Epic a plus. Other Qualifications: Must have a high level of understanding accounting or strong math skills. Must be organized, detail oriented, able to multi-task and be efficient with excellent verbal and written communications skills. Must also the ability to effectively work with others.
