SBA Banking Manager manages a team of SBA (Small Business Administration) officers who are responsible for generating SBA loans. Develops and executes business plans aligned with managements objectives and directs the generation of sales opportunities. Being a SBA Banking Manager ensures all SBA eligibility, regulations and underwriting guidelines are followed. Reviews loan quality and oversees process. Additionally, SBA Banking Manager requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The SBA Banking Manager typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments. To be a SBA Banking Manager typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience. Successful candidate must be a self-starter, have excellent communication skills, both verbally and written, able to promote a strong sales environment and enjoy working with people. Knowledge and experience in banking center operations and attaining sales goals is required along with previous experience in banking center management. This position will be located at our Tipp City Banking Center in Tipp City, OH. The successful candidate will work a flexible schedule that includes Saturdays. Hours and days may change due to scheduling needs (vacation, etc.) The hours for this position are approximately as follows: Monday through Thursday 8:00AM to 5:00PM; Fridays 8:00AM to 6:00PM and Saturday 8:00AM to 12:00PM. If scheduled to work a Saturday, a full day off is scheduled the previous week.

    Essential Job Functions:

    • Cash handling experience preferred
    • Strong organizational skills and proven sales record
    • Ability to handle cash transaction with a high degree of accuracy
    • Experience in deposit account opening and consumer lending
    • Proficient computer skills including Windows, Word and Excel a plus
    • Ability to manage a branch sales team in deposit and loan generation

    Education: High School diploma or equivalent required, associate's degree a plus.

    Experience: 1 years previous banking knowledge and associate degree or better encouraged.

    Skills & Knowledge: Knowledge and experience in banking center operations and attaining sales goals is required along with previous experience in banking center management.

    Job Type: Full-time

    Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour

    Expected hours: 40 per week
