    We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Treasury Management Business Development Officer to join Lake Ridge Bank!  In this role, you will be responsible for cultivating and expanding relationships with business clients to promote our treasury management services. Your primary responsibility will be to understand the unique financial needs of our clients and provide tailored solutions to optimize their cash management processes. .  This role will have an expectation of deposit gathering, with a focus on niches such as non-profit and municipal accounts, while also nurturing and managing new and existing business deposit relationships.  In addition to a broad knowledge of Lake Ridge Bank’s treasury management offerings, this position will have an emphasis on corporate credit card accounts, credit card acceptance (“merchant bankcard”) Bank at Work and general depository accounts. This position will need to have an understanding of the financial goals and challenges specific to these types of clients.

    Responsibilities

    • Build and maintain a pipeline of prospects through market research, networking, and referrals.
    • Specialize in deposit gathering, with a focus on niches such as non-profit and municipal accounts, while also nurturing and managing new and existing business deposit relationships.
    • Deliver compelling and persuasive presentations to clients, showcasing the benefits and value proposition of our treasury management offerings.
    • Meet and exceed sales targets, contributing to the overall growth and success of the treasury management business.
    • Develop customized treasury management solutions that address clients’ specific cash flow, liquidity, and risk management needs.
    • Conduct comprehensive needs assessments for clients to identify opportunities for treasury management services that align with their business objectives.
    • Take a leadership role in client relationship meetings and offer support to Treasury Management Specialists with their client interactions and sales efforts.  System knowledge and functions is critical, including Fiserv Premier, BPM, Q2/Centrix, ACH Manager, Wire Manager, Remote Deposit Capture, Business BillPay, Mobile Banking and Mobile Deposit, and ACH and Check Positive Pay.
    • Take a leadership role in disseminating new product information and training the treasury management team when changes and enhancements are made to existing products and services.
    • Collaborate with internal teams, including product development, operations, and risk management, to ensure seamless delivery of treasury management solutions and be able to identify and refer cross selling opportunities to Business Banking Lenders and Bank where appropriate.
    • Lead bank’s existing Business client Relationship Review process for the expansion of existing relationships and the generation of revenue.
    • Make independent decisions regarding exception pricing, waiving fees, and risk management decisions such as approving ACH files over their daily limit.
    • Contribute to the management of the annual reviews of our ACH function and remote deposit capture process.
    • Respond to Request for Proposals with proposals showing the bank’s capabilities and strengths.
    • Product Knowledge – Demonstrate a deep understanding of our treasury management products and services, effectively communicating their value to clients.
    • Be able to manage a treasury relationship from client presentation to implementation and subsequent support for ACH Manager, ACH and Check Positive Pay, Wire Manager, Remote Deposit Capture, Business BillPay, Mobile Banking and Mobile Deposit.
    • Take ownership of the "Bank at Work" program, ensuring its successful implementation and growth among corporate clients.
    • Participates in special projects and assignments and performs other duties as assigned.
    • Protects all confidential information obtained on the job by safeguarding it when in use, filing it properly when not in use, disposing of it properly and discuss it only with those who have a legitimate business need to know.
    • Stay abreast of industry trends, local competitor offerings, and regulatory changes to adapt and enhance our treasury management services.

    Qualifications

    • Associates degree in accounting, finance, business or similar field and 5 years of equivalent experience or combination of education and experience.
    • Proven sales experience.
    • Minimum 3-5 years experience in Treasury Management operations.
    • Comprehensive knowledge of treasury management products and services.
    • Proven success working is a collaborative environment with internal and external clients.
    • Ability to analyze complex financial data and provide strategic recommendations.
    • Results-oriented with a focus on meeting and exceeding sales targets.
    • Solid understanding of financial statements including but not limited to tax returns, profit & loss statements, income statements, balance sheets, and other business financials.
    • Excellent interpersonal, presentation and communication skills (verbal & written) in order to communicate and relate effectively with customers and associates.
    • Strong ability to problem solve and to work through complex issues in both traditional and non-traditional ways.
    • Demonstrated ability in exercising independent judgment.
    • Strong organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize and remain calm while working in a fast paced/deadline driven environment.
    • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe: Word, Excel, Power Point; and database software, proficient typing/keyboarding skills and the ability and willingness to learn new programs and software.
    • Ability to maintain confidential customer information.
    • Ability to read, write, understand and speak English clearly.
    • Ability to represent the organization in a professional, positive manner.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) in Accounting, Finance, Business and/or 5-10 years related client-contact banking or treasury management experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
    • Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) or Certified Cash Manager (CCM) designation

    This position is a full time position with hours of 8am – 5pm Monday-Friday with the flexiblity.
