SBA Regional Sales Manager manages a team of lending officers that generate Small Business Administration (SBA) government-guaranteed loans and lines of credit. Develops relationships with a network of financial professionals and other referral sources to identify prospects. Being a SBA Regional Sales Manager engages with clients to ensure their ongoing needs are addressed and to understand the broader needs of the small business community in the region. Regularly monitors and reviews the current SBA loan portfolio to identify issues. Additionally, SBA Regional Sales Manager maintains an up-to-date knowledge of SBA products, rules, and regulations. Establishes operational processes that conform with SBA SOP guidelines. Provides coaching, training, and development opportunities for banking officers on the team. Requires a bachelor's degree in finance, business or equivalent. Typically reports to a director. The SBA Regional Sales Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a SBA Regional Sales Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     Than we would like to talk to you! We're looking for an experienced B2B Salesperson. Business to Business sales experience (industry experience a plus) Someone who knows they can walk in the door here & be the top salesperson in the company. Someone with "natural sales skills" & the drive to succeed. Someone who knows relationship selling. Someone who can open doors, build rapport, overcome objections & can ask for the business. Someone who can walk in the door & close a sale on a smaller account & who can foster a long term relationship with the large accounts. 

    ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: 

    • Work with Sales Managers to establish selling strategies and tactics that result in new account business generation 
    • Schedule and complete weekly prospecting activities to include cold calling and tele-prospecting
    • Achieve annual sales targets and average weekly revenue quotas on a consistent basis
    • Update sales business plans on a monthly basis to optimize your sales results
    • Ensure the successful installation and transition of accounts to the service team to include accurate and timely completion of all contracts
    • Analyze prospective customers' needs and meet those needs via proposals, negotiations and business contracts
    • Show continual professional development in industry, sales abilities and time management.

    EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

    SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:
    - Demonstrated ability to meet sales goals and overcome obstacles
    - Enthusiastic drive to succeed with obvious confidence and competitive nature
    - Solid prospecting abilities & excellent customer relationship skills
    - Skillful negotiation, presentation, closing, abilities (management ability is not a qualification)
