Title: Assistant Delivery Manager

Location: STOCKTON, CA

Purpose of the position: Operate a delivery truck or similar vehicle for the delivery of beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages. Responsibilities include customer service, and running established local routes, executing all promotions, servicing all scheduled customers, merchandising all accounts to the company standards, filling coolers, racks, and displays. Drivers are responsible for keeping accurate route information on assigned accounts, maintain clean and well-organized trucks, handle checks, cash, coins, invoices, and daily route settlement using correct procedures according to policy. This position is a full-time position that requires an open, flexible schedule and ability to work 40 hours per week.

Delivery Driver Coach Duties:

• Manage delivery locations and execute pickup and delivery routes.
• Instruct employees in areas of driving, safety, hazmat, computer usage, and company procedures.
• Instruct employees Use of electronic logging system Wise, ADP, and VIP
• Implement the company new hire training program for Delivery Drivers
• Deliver goods to stores on route sheets, follow DOT regulations
• Ensure that the new employees are scheduled to train and that their trainers prepare them well for their DMV test. (Drive Time/Training Tips)
• Maintain effective communication with peers and senior leadership to promote opportunities for cooperation and collaboration of successful ideas.

Working Conditions:

• Extreme physical exertion, exposure to inclement weather, and exposure to fumes and noise from the truck. Primary functions require sufficient physical ability and mobility; walk, stand, and sit for prolonged periods; frequent stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, crawl, climb, reach, and twist; push, pull, lift, or carry moderate to substantial amounts of weight; operate assigned equipment and vehicles; verbal communication to exchange information.
