Progress Printing Company is seeking candidates to fill vacancies for a Perfect Binder Operator and Saddle Stitch Operator.

We operate Muller Martini and Heidelberg perfect binders and Muller Martini saddle binders. Ideal candidates for Machine Operators must be capable and proficient performing the set-up, initial maintenance and operation of the binding machines. The perfect candidate should meet production and quality standards, and be able to interpret instructions from job tickets. Additionally, candidates should have the ability to direct a crew, mentor and teach perfect/saddle binder skills, and work as a team. Interested applicants should share a willingness to serve a cross-functional role throughout the production area as needed.

Candidate must be able to lift 50 pounds, stand for 8 - 12 hours, and have good vision (corrected or uncorrected) with the ability to distinguish colors. The person hired must be able to work overtime when needed. Three years of prior printing experience preferred. Mechanical skills and good math skills are a must.
