Pay Rate$ 18.28 / hour 0.26 shift differential

The Job You Will Perform:- Assist in set ups, running, and cleaning the printing converting equipment
- Have the ability to perform the duties/responsibilities of the job with or without accommodation;
- the ability to read, write, and speak English; accurately read a measuring tape and ruler; use basic shop math;
- Learn and follow instructions, ask questions, and work effectively as a member of a team.
- Some basic knowledge of computers is needed.
- Motivated individual who is capable of performing a multitude of functions
- Flexible, fast-paced production environment.
- Focus on cleanliness and safety, customer satisfaction, quality and productivity
- Following all safety rules and practices
- Learn customer requirements and specifications by reading factory work orders, print cards, and design specifications.
- Coordinate activities with other machine crew members to efficiently set up and run orders.
- Maintain quality and production standards as required by the company.
- Perform set up functions such as zeroing and opening/closing the machine; installing inks, and cleaning
- Using available time to prepare for set ups and runs
- Perform assigned clean up functions, such as blowing down the machine, wiping off shafts, cleaning ink systems, vacuuming and sweeping the machine area, and picking up and shredding, miscellaneous scrap.
- Perform quality inspections and tests, and record findings
- And perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
The Skills You Will Bring:- At least one year of experience working in a manufacturing environment.
- Applicants must have a stable work history, good attendance record, positive attitude and a desire to produce quality work as part of a team.
- Experience in the corrugated industry is a plus.
- Flexibility, proactive work ethic
- Ability to read, write, use tape measure properly, use basic computer skills
