Saddle Stitch Operator jobs in Albany, GA

The primary responsibility of the Equipment Operator is to independently or as a team operate heavy equipment including skid steer, excavator, front-end loader, dozers, graders etc. by moving material to and from designated areas.

• Operate equipment in a safe and effective manner.
• Remain in constant contact (via voice, radio, or other system) with spotter while operating equipment.
• Responsible for personal and co-worker safety.
• Perform operator level maintenance on equipment in accordance with company standards.
• Perform daily safety checks to ensure equipment is in safe operating condition.
• Follow all safety regulations, company policies, and operating procedures.
• Ability to read and understand gauges and instructions.
• Must have multiple years’ experience in driving and controlling construction equipment including but not limited to: CRANES, bulldozers, forklifts, back hoes, dump trucks, excavators, graders, haul trucks, front end loaders etc.

WORK EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION

• High School Degree/GED. On the job training. Compliance and Safety.
• Minimum of 2-5 years operating cranes, front end loaders, excavators, dozers, graders, and haul trucks
  • Must be able to operate and demonstrate your experience safely and very efficiently.

SKILLS

• Knowledge of basic construction.
