SCOPE:
The Forklift Operator is responsible for performing material handling tasks within the plant and warehouse to support machine production schedules, finished product shipping and recycling/ waste removal activities. The Forklift Operator will stage, load and unload finished product raw materials. This role is also responsible for stocking and maintaining the warehouse inventory. Continuously supports Sofidel’s Employee Personal Practice Policy.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT USED:
Employee will use computer and peripherals, standard and customized software applications and tools, and usual office equipment.
Education/Experience:
High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED). Prior experience preferred, but not necessarily required in unique circumstances. Possess basic computer skills.
Language Ability:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and quality and procedure manuals.
Math Ability:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
