Job Title: Warehouse Supervisor Reports To: Warehouse Manager
Hours: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM with one-hour lunch (Note: This role may require occasional overtime for loading shipping trucks beyond regular hours)
Job Type: Regular, Full-time Pay Rate Range: $17-$21 per hour, based on relevant experience
Position Summary:
The Warehouse Supervisor will oversee inventory management, picking/packing, and shipping operations while assisting the Warehouse Manager in executing large-scale projects efficiently.
Position Responsibilities:
Supervise warehouse staff, ensuring conflict resolution, attendance management, and task delegation.
Coordinate receipt of inbound shipments, managing both inventory and non-inventory items effectively.
Arrange outbound shipping carrier pickups and ensure smooth coordination.
Maintain accurate location tracking for inventory items.
Handle processing of returned orders promptly upon arrival.
Fulfill daily restock requirements by retrieving stock as per restock log.
Provide support to picking team, shipping department, and quality control as needed.
Ensure proper product rotation from receipt to shipping to maintain quality standards.
Assist in developing and implementing warehouse policies and procedures.
Conduct inventory counts as needed and maintain inventory accuracy.
Monitor and stock necessary items for facility maintenance.
Assist in various warehouse tasks as directed by management.
Key Deliverables:
Maintain well-stocked pick inventory to fulfill orders promptly.
Ensure accurate and up-to-date stock records with minimal discrepancies.
Monitor punctuality and attendance of warehouse staff, promptly addressing any issues with the Warehouse Manager.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift items weighing at least 50 lbs.
Forklift Certification preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications preferred.
Access to individual transportation preferred.
