Position Title: FT Lift Operator Night
Position Summary
As a forklift operator, you will be responsible for maintaining optimum stock levels in your area(s) by moving pallets of stock from place to place as needed using the Radio Frequency (RF) system.
Your starting pay will be $17.50 per hour and an incentive up to 130% production. You will also be given one week of vacation after six continuous months of employment with another week after twelve continuous months of employment.
Duties and Responsibilities
•Responsible for maintaining optimum stock levels in assigned areas
•Move product in timely, accurate, damage-free manner
•Verify accuracy by checking pallet number, slot number, let down quantity, and product description
•Cut plastic/tape bands from pallets before placement to allow selectors to obtain cases accurately
•Move pallets to clear assigned aisles of inbound freight
•Ensure pallets are shrink-wrapped and banded with tape to secure product
•Complete 10-point daily inspection of equipment used
•Rotate product in pick slots when needed to ensure proper rotation
•Notify management of reserve or pick slot problems as well as any rack damage observed
•Ensure compliance in areas of accuracy, safety, and productivity
•Adhere to all company guidelines, policies, and standard practices
•Able to safely and properly change forklift batteries as needed
