We are seeking a New Jersey based IT/Help Desk Support Technician with strong computer analytical and troubleshooting skills in our Rockaway, NJ operations office.

This Position Requires:

• Servicing end users issues by troubleshooting over the phone or in person.
• Making repairs and changes to hardware and software to keep downtime to a minimum.
• Building desktop, laptop and tablet PC’s with required programs.
• Updating internal ticketing software in real time and closing in a timely fashion.
• Troubleshooting smartphone connectivity problems.
• Opportunities to work with engineers on project level work and work in a team environment with focus on getting the job done quickly, correctly and professionally.

Preferred Experience:

• Troubleshooting Windows errors in 7 and 10
• Familiar with LAN’s and have a basic understanding of networking including WIFI technology
• Microsoft Outlook knowledge in setting up profiles, domains and diagnosing email problems
• Barcode scanner configuration and troubleshooting
• Logistics experience with Asset Tracking and inventory control
• Smartphone configuration and troubleshooting
• Printer management including introducing new network printers to the environment , troubleshooting and resolving issues
• Provide competent, friendly customer support for website and other customer related issues, including troubleshooting EDI or similar interfaces

• Must be willing to attack issues head on and have the diligence to see them through to resolution
• Strong hardware troubleshooting experience and/or education
• Excellent customer service skills
• Detail oriented

Regular work schedule will be Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm or 12:00pm to 8:00pm Eastern Time US. Occasional after hours and weekend work may be required. Position may lead to full time duties.
