This candidate should have homebuilding  experience, and a willingness to learn our process. Our focus is on quality construction, homeowner satisfaction and working to help achieve success in the sales and completion of homes. Under the McCombs Properties  corporate umbrella, Fortis Homes has an experienced management team in place and offers levels of support to ensure a successful build. We are building in 2 well established communities in the Corpus Christi area. This position will be at Palmilla Beach Golf Resort in Port Aransas.

Requirements

• Locate, negotiate pricing, obtain insurance information and scopes of work for various labor needs.
• Scheduling of work and materials needed to meet building timelines and close homes on time.
• Inspecting completed work to ensure all tasks pertaining to construction were performed to company/buyer standards.
• Ensuring proper close out documentation for each phase of the job is completed.
• Complete homes and all walk-through items prior to closing.
• Gain a thorough knowledge of required building inspections/permitting, safety regulations, SWPPP compliance, and OSHA compliance.
• Scheduling and performance of home presentation, explanation of warranty program and customer service tasks.
• Work with sales to manage buyer concerns and satisfaction.

Skills and knowledge:

• Knowledgeable about the construction industry including construction cost, materials, products, methods and procedures.
• Proven organizational skills in a high paced work environment.
• Must be able to use word processing, email and spreadsheets.
• Knowledge and familiarity with blueprints, construction drawings and engineer plans.
• Must have a strong sense of urgency, attention to detail and persistence in follow up.

Bachelor’s Degree is preferred or 3 years building experience.
