Safety Representative outlines and implements training programs to educate and inform workforce on work safety, environmental safety, and accident prevention regulations and procedures. Develops and distributes educational materials including videos, guides, and posters. Being a Safety Representative tracks and documents accidents to understand causes and recommend changes to prevent future accidents. Performs inspections and audits of facilities, equipment and processes recommending corrections or additional precautions to ensure compliance to established regulations. Additionally, Safety Representative has a broad and current knowledge of all government and applicable industry safety regulations. Typically requires a bachelor's degree or its equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Safety Representative works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role. Work is closely managed.     Position Summary: 
    Sells, rents, and/or processes services of product offerings products for distributors to business and industrial establishments or individuals at sales office, store, showroom, or customer's place of business by performing the following duties:

    Essential functions and responsibilities:
    Compiles lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads, based on information from newspapers, business directories, industry ads, trade shows, Internet Web sites, and other sources
    May travel throughout assigned territory to call on regular and prospective customers to solicit orders with assigned Outside Sales Rep, correspond with customers via email, or talk with customers by phone
    Quotes prices and credit terms, prepare sales, rental, and/or service contracts for orders obtained
    Estimates date of delivery to customer, based on knowledge of own firm's and supplier’s production and delivery schedules
    Prepares reports of business transactions and reports as required
    Performs outbound calling as defined by Company objectives
    Works with Outside Sales Rep to keep account activities and literature up to date
    Processes/follows-up on rental and sales quotations,  customer orders, and account receivables
    Enters new customer data and other sales data for current customers into a computer database
    Develops and maintains relationships with purchasing contacts
    Performs other duties as assigned

    Education/Certification/License(s) required:
    Must possess an associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school
    A valid driver's license is required, and any other certification as required by customer or the organization.

    Experience/Other required:
    Minimum (1) year work experience
    Computer proficiency including Microsoft Office, ERP, and CRM, as well as basic knowledge of Company Intranets and Network drives
