Safety Representative outlines and implements training programs to educate and inform workforce on work safety, environmental safety, and accident prevention regulations and procedures. Develops and distributes educational materials including videos, guides, and posters. Being a Safety Representative tracks and documents accidents to understand causes and recommend changes to prevent future accidents. Performs inspections and audits of facilities, equipment and processes recommending corrections or additional precautions to ensure compliance to established regulations. Additionally, Safety Representative has a broad and current knowledge of all government and applicable industry safety regulations. Typically requires a bachelor's degree or its equivalent. ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
We have an immediate opening for a Safety Professional to oversee the safety and health at our manufacturing facilities in Hudson, WI. You will be responsible for managing our current safety procedures, analyzing processes to find any gaps or areas that need improvement, and developing new safety systems to reduce or eliminate safety hazards. We will expect you to set up a regular inspection schedule of our buildings and equipment and conduct safety training sessions for new and current employees. Your primary goal is to ensure our employees are safe and our facilities comply with all relevant governmental regulations.
