Vulcan Fire, a premier Fire Protection and Fire Life Safety industry company in Colorado Springs, Colorado is seeking a Fire Alarm Sales Representative to join our team.  This position is base plus commission.  Base range is between $50,000 and $75,000 base on experience.  This position works Monday - Friday.  

The right candidate will contribute to the growth of our recurring revenue for fire alarm inspections, service, and monitoring business in the Denver Metro and surrounding areas.

Qualifications:

• 3 years fire alarm industry experience, sales preferred
• Excellent interpersonal skills to build productive interactions and relationships

• High level of integrity and self-motivation
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Travel to customer and prospective customer sites is required
• Pass a 10-panel drug test
• Pass a criminal background check

Primary job tasks and functions:

• Acquire sales leads for new work from existing and new Customer base: including fire alarm, fire sprinkler (wet and dry), extinguisher, and backflow inspections, service and monitoring services and other services Vulcan currently sells or will sell in the future.

• Sell follow up deficiency work based on inspections.
• Responsible for renewal of existing agreements
• Generate new relationships and foster existing relationships among Customer base for the purposes of continued sales
• Generate new proposals, follow-up on active proposals, and close sales on active proposals

• Communicate status of active proposals to Director of Sales
• Act as a face of Vulcan amongst our Customer base and industry, representing our identity: Professionalism, Quality, and Focus on Relationships
• Work directly with Service Coordinator, Office Manager, and Director of Operations on agreements sold or follow needed for customer information.
• Utilize software such as CLSS, ServiceTrade, Excel, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office Suite, etc.

• Assistance with general marketing activities and promotion of the Company
• This individual must be a self-starter
• Other tasks and responsibilities as assigned
