B Safe Security, a Pye Barker Fire & Safety / Fire Protection Service Corporation company, is hiring for an Installation/Service Technician at our Lancaster branch, Lancaster, PA.

Position Summary: The ideal candidate will have experience installing and inspecting fire, burglar, access control, and CCTV systems.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Installation, service, and inspection of security alarms and associated low voltage systems
• System testing and inspecting to the prescribed standards
• Make connections and required adjustments as directed; test operation of all components of each system to the signal-receiving center
• Provide on-site emergency troubleshooting and repairs of customers security equipment
• Preparing accurate and timely service tickets and reports
• Ensuring a high level of customer service, satisfaction, and communication
• Maintains a clean and safe work environment on and off site
• Interface successfully with Administration, Sales, Customers, and Management
• Ability to use a variety of hand tools
• Perform other duties as required

Education & Required Skills:

• High School Diploma / GED
• 2 years' experience preferred
• Familiarity with one or more of the following product lines; Honeywell, DSC, Napco, Hikvision, Keyscan, Door King, Firelite, Silent Knight, DMP preferred
• Ability to install, inspect, or service security alarms
• Basic computer knowledge and experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Must read and speak English
• Must be responsible, self-motivated, self-starter, personable and well organized
• Must have clean driving record and a valid Driver's License

Experience:

• Prior experience in inspections, field service, and / or installation preferred but not required
• NICET Certification is preferred but not required
